Daniel John Cunningham (1850 – 1909) was a Scottish physician, zoologist, and anatomist. He held the post of professor of Anatomy from 1903 until his death and is renowned for the medial texts 'Manual of Practical Anatomy' and 'Textbook of Anatomy'. These editions of Manual of Practical Anatomy have been revised by James Couper Brash, professor of Anatomy at Edinburgh University from 1931 to 1954.
